Appointed as a Exhibition Commissioner for MaTiC Art Gallery, Kuala Lumpur. in line with the concept of the National Blue Ocean Strategy (NBOS) Partnership with Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia MaTiC.
Contemporary digital art has been the playground for ex-architect,
now a full-time multidisciplinary artist, photographer and exhibition commissioner, Safirah Rashid.
Through her works, she creates beautiful fusion artworks, combining
digital drawing and photography with a little touch on creative imagination.
The Langkawi-born artist started to explore the contemporary digital art world
in 2010 after finding it interesting yet challenging.
Her artwork enables viewers to feel like they are part of the photographs,
"In a way, it gives the illusion of being three-dimensional; spectators are
encouraged to get involved the lifelike images."
Beside the digital artwork and manipulates photographs within photographs
and drawing to create an interesting miniature art photography concept,
Safirah also bodypainting for Camouflage/Invisible art concept or Seni Halimunan.
Her work have been exhibit at various exhibition locally and internationally.

Gathering 6102 pictures for an exhibition is no easy task, but a group of photographers who called themselves Street2Street Malaysia has managed it!
The exhibition, currently at MaTiC Art Gallery Jalan Ampang Kuala Lumpur is aimed at providing a platform photography enthusiasts to showcase their work and expose the public many genres of photography and different techniques of capturing the images.
A total of 113 from around the country took part in the first of it kind(postcard-sized) of this magniture held in this exhibition.
Since it also marks World Tourism day, most of the pictures on display are about places of interest, landscape, people and travel photos, It’s cover all genres of photography from Landscape, people, street, culture etc.
